Its true,i have been through it.i detox using lemon .and I drink full lemon in warm water every morning and when my period came I bleeded very heavy and painful with was my first time to have such kind of bleeding I was scared but i went on for two days .it help me coz after dat I felt myself more comfortable than b4.

Yes, I had a similar experience last month. My period delayed until the day 30 of my cycle after taking hot water with lime. Normally, it comes on day 25 or 26. I didn't suspect the cause of my delayed period and switched to only hot lemon water. Now my period is delayed for 8 days. Much as I had sex with my husband on day 20 of my cycle, we took precautions (withdrawal method and morning after pill). I will see my doctor today for a pregnancy test to be sure. Oh, I am 45 and have never missed or had a delayed period.
Yes at least for me it does. I had a very heavy period and I tried it giving me a lighter flow. I think it has something with the acidity of the lemon

YES! That's what I found. I found that when I have lemon water before and during my period I have WAY less clots, which makes the period come out heavier the first 2 days, which then make my period shorter (first 2 days heavy and 2-3 days with a liner). I never have any delays in my period. I'm very regular.
I have only one day period after I drink warm lemon juice and it's makes me pain...
I can attest to that. I drank 5 lemons in lemonade the day before. Shorter and heavier. Including, two huge jelly globs. Less discomfort. Will repeat!
Jst this month for the first time ever i started drinking warm lemon honey water for lossing a lil weight.I hd no idea tht it has any connection with periods but my period got postponed for 5 days.The day i did not hav this water,i got my period.
