Hi,
We will need your full name and city&state or province and country where you live. We are hoping to form the class action suit and will need this information for a lawyer.
Thank you,
Terry P
My psychiatrist had me on Effexor for about 10 years. I had to go into rehab to get off of it. They had my dose all the way up to 450mg per day. I now have Raynauds Syndrome since coming off of it in 2010 and it is getting worse. Never had any issues till I stopped taking Effexor. If anyone sues them i want in on it too. I had all of the awful reactions to coming off of this stuff. I cant imagine Heroine being much worse.
Is there a special address this information is being sent to?
I don't do facebook, so the only way we can get information is for people to send it here. I can forward it to Michael Fearon, who is trying to get a lawyer to take this case. I have been emailing him.

Hi,
Thanks so much for opening up this important topic regarding Effexor. I was taking it for about 3+ years. At first it seem to help me with my depression symptoms. After about six months or longer I noticed a lot of awful side effects my body experienced. I had pounding headaches, feeling sick to the stomach, and bad and weird dreams. I never remember my dreams so this was so odd to me, and I felt like I was reliving some type of horror show every day. When I tappered myself off the drug I experienced the most terrible head serges. I felt like my head was about to pop off my neck. It took years and I still get headaches from time to time, but the withdrawal symptoms are the WORST.
Yes, I am definately on board with moving forward if there is a case against Effexor. No one should have to go through such agony.

Hi Gen,
Have you been able to get off of EF? I withdrew 1 bead more each day until I was down to none. I had no side effects. I was also helped by a naturopathic dr. at the time. I am fine now....no withdrawal symptoms. If you want to be on the C.A.S., please give us your full name and city/state or province. Keepiing in touch here seems to be the only way to give out information since we are not allowed to give our emails.
Thanks,
Terry
I want to be involved also. The withdrawal of Effexor was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I have been completely non functional. It is ruining my life! Please add me to the list!
Hi,
We need your full name and city/state or province to give to the lawyer. Let us know and I'll forward it to Michael Fearon.
Thanks,
Terry P
Hi Amiee,
I've forwarded your information to Michael Fearon. Thanks for joining to try to stop Effexor.
Thanks for doing this. I am horrified at the thought of others going through what I did. I am now still trying to taper off of it.
Hi Amiee,
I was able to get off of it after taking it for 12 years. I reduced 1 more bead each day till I was down to nothing. I had the help of a naturopatic dr. who gave me remedies for depression and anxiety which I only had to take for a little while. I had no side effects doing it this way. I tried other ways that never worked. If you have any other questions about this, please just ask me. I want to help people to get off of this awful drug and have found a way that has really worked.
Terry
I have tried to ween myself and this medicine is horrible.... I cant hold a job, it also has made me to become depersonalized, and headaches, oh man I could go on and on so please keep me in this suit get this horrible pill gone
I am down to 75mg from 150mg. When we try to go lower than 75mg I get ill. He wants to put me on trazadone temporarily to help me get off of it. I take it in capsule form. Should I ask him for pill form and see if I can lower the dosage more slowly that way?
Are you on the time release effexor...with the little beads in side the capsule? I took out one more bead each day without any other medication....do you have a good naturopathic dr in your area. If not, you can talk to mine on the phone....she was a great help to me. What is trazadone? This was the only way I could do it and IT WORKED.
Terry
I am on the 75mg ER pink capsule. I have never opened one of the capsules to see inside. Trazodone is an antidepressant of the serotonin antagonist and reuptake inhibitor (SARI) class.
