Im with y'all. Effexor is currently destroying my life. I got off of it for 3 months after 10 years on and could not function after the first month so I am now back on it. Now I am currently feeling like it isnt working anymore and am more depressed than I was before I restarted. I keep increasing the dose and feel good for a few weeks then i go into depression. I'm sick of it and constantly thinking about suicide if I cant find something to help. I would have never stopped the drug in the 1st place had I known I would be in hell.
I was on effexor for at least ten years,i tried to stop taking,at least twice, the side effects was so bad,i went back on it,took it for about 3to4 more years,my job switched insuranc company two years ago, they would not pay for the name brands, the generic brand, made my bloodpressure to go through, the roof,my doctor taper me off,it took over a month for the tremors, headache, nause, antsy and edgy to go away..i agree it is the worst meds. I have ever taken..if you miss more than three days ,there was hell to pay..heart start racing...chest tying, nosie spook the hell out you..i remember i was at work had to go home, because of that.
I would like to join any lawsuit against this drug. I tapered as i was told and the side effects have not stopped.
my name is John. I've been currently weaning off of venlafaxine for 5 months its been 3 weeks since I've taken a pill I call it riding the lightning I am still dealing with the waves of shocks amongst other social debilitation...I keep getting lied to by doctors and I hope that someday this will stop I'm very interested in joining your lawsuit
I am definitely interested in joining
I would be more than happy be involved. Get this poison off the market and get some type of help to those of us who can't get off of this medication because of the withdrawal.
Not helpful. Don't minimize what other people are going through. There are a lot of reasons people want to get off of this drug and none of them have to do with our symptoms being any less intense than yours. On top of that, you minimize the difficulty we are having trying to get off of this poison. You think we haven't talked to our health care professionals about this? I tried to get off of this three times last year, each time with a new and unsuccessful tactic from my doctor. Doctors are just as clueless about this phenomenon. That's part of the reason there needs to be a lawsuit. That's great that you've had a good experience, I'm sure you're not the only one. But do not presume to know what others are going through.
I need help filing a lawsuit against Effexor
i would like to join the class action lawsuit.
