I would be interested. I've been on the drug for over 10 years. Weened myself off once & felt even worse so went back on. I have a gambling addiction and seriously believe this caused it or a large factor. I'm going to see my doctor about getting off of this. Sounds like there are a lot of people who have had serious problems with this drug's side effects. Let me know if you need any additional info to help in this pursuit.
Let me know what you doctor says. The only way I was able to get off was to see a homeopathic dr. to get natural things for depression/anxiety and to also get off by removing 1 more bead each day. This is the only thing that worked for me....no side effects at all. If you have any questions, let me know.
For five months my daughter went through hell trying to come off this evil drug. Five nights a week we were in the ER for pain management. I'm not sure she will be the same after the ordeal. I want to join the class action lawsuit. This drug needs to be removed from the public!! Being a single parent and my daughter needing 24/7 care took its toll on me as well

Did your daughter ever get off the drug? Removing 1 more bead each day was the only was I was able to get off of it. I'm sorry you and your daughter are going through this. I agree....there needs to be a class action suit...but no matter how hard some of us try, no one seems to want to take this case.

Hi Robin, the lawsuit has been a real struggle...we can't find a lawyer who is willing to take on this company even though there are a lot of people who have been damaged.

Totally agree!!! Effexor is so bad I wouldn't give it to a sick horse. Why oh why does the FDA approve such drugs. I hadn't heard there was a class action lawsuit going on. If I can locate it i will be in it. It has stolen 10 year's of my life so far.
