Alright guys, I'm new to this site... really haven't come across it before. I had a very, very uncomfortable situation yesterday, and I would like to figure out what the heck happened so I may prevent it in the future and not go through that pain again.

I guess I'll start off with some facts about me. I have an interesting array of medical ailments that may or may not help diagnose this.

I am a 19 year old freshman in college. On my 18th birthday, I was diagnosed with Klinefelter's Syndrome. I was put on a testosterone-gel treatment. They told me that it would help me out and it never did. My body does not accept testosterone as well as it should. Recently, they switched me to the patch to see if that would work. Two days ago, I had taken my first dose (10 mg of testosterone) through the duration of 24 hours. Due to school work, I had missed my second dose and accidentally left my two patches (worn near my lower hip on my right leg) through half the day before I caught it and decided to take it off.

I haven't used testosterone since because a) I can't get through my endocrinologist which is 2.5 hours away from my college - back home and b) because I don't want that situation to reoccur.

When my little mishap happened, I was in the music building here. I'm a music major, and so I was practicing some trombone in a practice room. It went for a few days with no pain, or any symptoms to suggest pain was on it's way. I had set my trombone down, picked up my laptop (plugged into the wall) and searched a few pieces of musical literature to figure what I'll do at my recital. Somewhere in the process of doing that, the pain and shock feeling hit my groin area with a hard force. It wasn't a blunt-force pain... I recall feeling a weird tingling feeling down there for a short time before it made me jump. Immediately after that, I put my computer down, put my back to the door (there's a small window in it) and proceeded to check myself out down there to see what happened. There was no irregular color, no bumps, nothing.

I did some research through google and other sites like this and it said it could be an STD, I read some into that... but I don't think that's the case because I have only had 3 weeks of the college life... so yeah, I'm still a virgin.

The best way I can describe this to anyone is through a set of analogies.

Let's start with the electric feeling. Now I know that you all have gone to a prank store or even a gas station or something and have come across those fake "electrify-your-friend" lighters or pens. You press down some metallic feature on whatever your holding, it activates a solenoid and sends a little bit of AC through your hand. It feels somewhat tingly, not painful per se, but it makes you jump or let go and exclaim "WHAT THE HELL?!"

My tingling sensation caused the same reaction.

As for the pain part of it, it had a prickly feeling to it. Almost as though you took niacin or something, and your body flushes red and you feel all prickly. Same kinda feeling, minus the red skin... and I haven't had niacin any time recently.

Sorry for the lengthly post guys. I'm trying to best describe it as I can because of the other threads I read about other people's pains just didn't seem like they went to a great enough length to explain their situation.

Please, help me if you can.

Thank you in advance,

Zach.
