What are the possible complications of the encephalitis? My husband has been diagnosed with this condition after the serious headaches and nausea that lasted for about a week. He is also under the therapy for varicella. Are those two somehow connected? I am just afraid there might be some serious problems because of those headaches.
Well, I will not lie to you. Encephalitis is a serious problem and sometimes it occurs as a consequence of some other medical problem, varicella for example. Basically, the virus that caused the varicella simply transfers itself into the brain and starts with havoc right at that spot. As for the complications, let’s hope that it won’t come to that.
