Hello, folks. I have a classmate that has been diagnosed with secretive otitis. Unfortunately, he didn’t treat it properly and he ended with an operation. I would like to know something more about this. Can anyone help me with providing me any info? I will appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
Hi, there. Otitis media can be very stubborn when it comes to treatment. The medications of choice are antibiotics. They are applied for 3 to 4 weeks. If the case is more serious, they can be given intramuscularly. I suppose your friend didn’t take antibiotics for a proper period of time. You can consult with his doctor to see what it is all about. He will provide you with more info. I hope this will help as well. Good luck! Bye!
