Hi, I have a dilemma I dont know how to solve on my own. I am suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for about seven years. In the last few months the pain has become stronger but my doctor doesnt want to give me stronger pain killers. I have few friends who take Endocet or Propoxy for their pain from arthritis. Should I try these drugs? Which one is better: Endocet or Propoxy?
Hi, first of all, let me say I am very sorry to hear you are in so much pain. However, you shouldnt try any of these meds on your own. First of all, these are prescription drugs and you cant get them without your doctors approval. Both drugs belong to the group of opioid pain killers. When you use these drugs, there is always a chance you can get addicted to them. That is why it is important you use them only under doctors supervision. Also, only your doctor can advise you about the best dosage regime for you. Since you are in so much pain you should try talking to your doctor again. Pain is a very individual thing and maybe he just doesnt realize you are really hurting. In any case, as I said earlier, you shouldnt try either Endocet or Propoxy on your own because of the risk of addiction.
