I have been taking endocet for 7 days now. I was prescribed it for my body and head injuries I sustained at work. I can say that it did help a lot, but now I am facing a new dilemma. How am I supposed to get of from it? I have heard from other patients, when I was in hospital, that suddenly stopping with dosages not a good thing to do. Withdrawals symptoms might occur. After only a week??
Well, you said it yourself, the medication helped you a lot, which means it is a strong drug and you cannot get rid of it easily. Yes, it is possible to end it suddenly and endure withdrawal effects for some time. That is why doctors recommend slowly reducing the dosage so that you eventually stop using is. Endocet is combined of two drugs, acetaminophen and oxycodone, which are both strong narcotic analgesic, thus the withdrawal symptoms.
All I want to know is what are the physical symptoms of withdrawal from endocet and how long do they last?
