I suffer from endometriosis . i have had sergery to remove one on my left ovary , but then it returned and basically consumed my ovary . Iwas having tests to see if my ovary was still producing eggs, but no other treatment was offered . (I have not had kids yet) ...

Last tuesday it burst . I never got to see me dr until the following day and now he suggests removing the ovary . I am now confused and worried - I have the endo liquid inside me and perhaps spreading to ther areas ? Is it a bit late to remove my ovary ?...should i not be having any treatment ? I am not sure on what damage is likely to be done . My dr is very vague and does not really answer my questions when I ask him what options i have , or if it is likely to spread? He told me the cyst was too large to operate on without removing the ovary , but now it has burst wants to remove the ovary still, without proceeding to check if the ovary is functional or not . If the endo spreads to my other ovary i could end up with no chance of children etc......Can anyone help, or enlighten me ? thankyou
