Every time that ive relapsed on meth in the last two year (like 8 times now), my eyes turn fire engine red completely thought out the whites. Also there is severe iritation and lots of discharge. This only goes on for the first 2-6 days I use meth, after that the are clear and seemonly unaffected for as many as 30 days. However I if even so much as take a one or two day break and then continue to use, the process starts all over again.
Hi,
Red eyes can be a common side effect of methamphetamine use. Methamphetamine is a stimulant drug that can cause blood vessels in the eyes to dilate, leading to redness and irritation. Additionally, methamphetamine use can cause dryness in the eyes, which can further exacerbate redness and discomfort.
If you have noticed that your eyes consistently turn red when you relapse on methamphetamine, it may be a sign that your body is experiencing the effects of the drug. It is important to note that the redness of your eyes is just one potential symptom of methamphetamine use, and there may be other physical and psychological effects that accompany relapse.
If you are struggling with methamphetamine use, it is important to seek professional help to address your addiction. Methamphetamine use can have serious consequences on your physical and mental health, and quitting on your own can be extremely difficult. Treatment options may include therapy, support groups, and medication-assisted treatment, depending on your individual needs and circumstances.
Can you tell us what have you done in the meantime?
