A friend of mine, age 33 has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and I have to say that I am not a bit surprised that this happened. His family (I mean his parents and brother are a true example of a dysfunctional family) and it looks like he always had problem dealing with reality. And now he has to deal with side effects of anti psychotics he has to take (such as excessive salivation).
Well, the mentioned cause is just one of the several possible that induce schizophrenia. Unfortunately, that specific one becomes more and more common as a main factor in creation of this mental state. Sadly, life today requires a lot of energy and a strong mind for a normal functioning. Or at least healthy family relations...

Or you can end with meds and their side effect. Yeah, life sometimes really sucks. I know someone who has similar issues and she dealt with it with anti depressants. Meds stabilized her, but not her life. I am not sure what happened to her, but I hope she will not have to take those meds her entire life.

Oooh, I don't want to remember the time I have been taking NSAID meds for my health issues. Half of the time I had nausea, so I was afraid each time I had to eat something. And I can't imagine how strong are meds used to alter one's brain function (or should I say dysfunction in this case).
