Hello! I have urinary tract infection and I am taking prescribed drugs exactly as they prescribed. But, since few days ago I have excruciating pain in my kidneys. I am wondering if urinary tract infection caused this or something else is in case here. Will I need to contact my doctor because of this or not? Thank you in advance!
Hello! I think that you should contact your doctor and do some medical tests because it could be that you have problems caused by urinary tract infection. Could be that you got kidney infection. I am telling you this because excruciating pain in kidneys is not one of the symptoms of urinary tract infection.

Hello there,

I think that you should see your doctor as soon as possible. There is big chance that you are suffering from kidney infection. Usually urinary tract infection if it is left untreated is the cause of the kidney infection and maybe you didn’t go to your doctor on time.

Anyhow, to confirm this you need to see your doctor. He will do some urine analysis and urine tests and afterwards he will know for sure what the cause of this pain is.

If you are suffering from kidney infection the treatment is almost the same as with the urinary tract infection. You will drink antibiotics and you should increase intake of water and lemonade in your organism.
