so i had a bladder infection that felt like it didnt go away, got meds and then now its been about a month later and the peeing feeling has subsided a little but now under my right ribcage feels like its contracting and hurts incredibly bad. i was running and could not breath has shortness of breath pain in my upper right stomach, and lower back hurts. pee has white blood cells. got a sonogram and came back negative but i have this tight feeling in my stomach and cannot digest anything hardly and i know something is wrong but they keep saying negative.. i am at a loss.
That is a confusing situation. Since you had a bladder infection that you think didn't go away, my first thought is that you have a kidney infection now. I had one once, and it hurt like hell. Worst pain I've ever felt. But I'd think, if you've been to the doctor and you did have a kidney infection, they'd have caught that in no time. So it's possible that your tight stomach is caused by something completely unrelated, such as gastritis or irritable bowel syndrome, as well. Best thing I can say, go back for a second opinion. Keep going to the ER if you're in lots of pain, because that sometimes leads to more serious investigation as hospitals really don't want repeat ER customers.
