Ive been experiencing a lot of symptoms related to parasites for the last couple months. Waiting for my stool sample to come back this week but I have read that it will most likely show up negative because they are hard to detect. Was wondering if anyone could reply to this or message me about their experience with parasites and what they did to take care of them. Really hoping I can get some feedback about this
Hi, I've been having a similar problem. Around 5 weeks ago I had anti-biotics for a tooth abscess and all seemed fine, then about a week later I started having a very slight pain in the left side of my Colon. A week after that I started having the Diarrhea which lasted about 3 days. I tried all sorts, I tried the obvious like immodium which did nothing and then the Brat diet which seemed to stop the diarrhea but left me with loose stool and needing the loo anywhere from 3 - 6 times each day. I do a lot of research online regarding health etc and this baffled me. I had changed my diet recently too to include more fibre mostly from seeds and meusli so My problem could have been from a number of angles. As I have never suffered from bowel problems before I started looking at other causes. I have been visiting in hospital recently and apparently anti-biotics make your system more Alkaline which is ideal for Parasites and I started to suspect that I could have picked one up while visiting my mom. I also read that sugar is ideal for parasites. To cut a very long story short I cut out sugar as much as I can and started eating a clove of garlic each night before bed. I also ate a pomegranate the other night too which is supposed to be good against parasites. With 2 days my system seemed to be back to normal. I'm at the end of day 3 now and I pleased to say all seems fine. I strongly recommend the garlic. It must be crushed and left to stand for 15mins to let the chemicals in the garlic take effect. If you hate the taste swallow with a glass of water :)
Let me know how you get on
Steve
