My wife feels upper abdominal paid occasionally due to multiple stones in her gallbladder. Her ALT(SGPT), AST(SGPT) test is also abnormal and showing high reading i.e. 286 u/l & 237 u/l, which needs opinions of Liver Specialist. Furthermore, her HBsAg is 0.09 and Anti-HVC is 0.22, which is normal/Nagative. According to Ultrasound and CT Scan report of Liver, there are multiple echogenic foci seen in the peri-portal area with the comet tail appearance Pneumobilia. The Gallbaldder is contracted and full of stone causing posterior acoustic shadowing. An expert openion of Liver Specialist Doctor is required. I may be told whether the condition of liver is normal or alarming and cause of elevated enzyme may also be cleared. Advice regarding laproscopic surgery of Gallbladder is also required. Hopping for immediate reply.
Hi Ghaffar,
You should seek a second opinion, of a doctor that can actually see the patient and the test data.
What you have in bold basically means that there are bright spots on the image and pneumobilia means "gas."
No one on any forum can give you an "expert opinion." There are just too many variables.
We aren't seeing the reports, the CT scan results, have no patients history, nothing. Every individual is unique, in many ways.
In general, if arthroscopic surgery is available, it is usually the easiest means, and has the fastest recovery times.
Sorry that I can't offer specific recommendations. Good luck. Hope it helps.
