Extreme vaginal pain, dropped hyman

I need to know ..What is the treatment for a dropped Hyman.Iam 62 yrs old and I  suffer extreme vaginal pain.the doctor suggested it was a dropped hyman..Can it be corrected without surgery?What is typically the treatment/
