I have freckles on the white part of my eyes…well It’s an odd thing...when I was a kid Mum noticed them and took me to the eye doctor. He said that is what they are freckles, but probably referring to the speckles in the iris that many people have....unless???

I think the freckles in the eyes part only apply to ones with light colored eyes. Because you will notice that blue eyes are not just wholly blue, they got some dark specks around it... If u watched enough chick flicks, you'll notice...I have a freckle in my eye; it’s just like a freckle on your skin, a different colored spot in the iris.

Well,
If I am not mistaking eye freckle is also called choroidal nevus which can be detected by simple eye exam. I don’t know if they occur often but they usually occur on the choroid where you have a lot of small blood vessels. The fact is that they are not dangerous and they don’t represent any kind of disease of the eye. The good thing is to monitor your freckle in order to see if the freckle is growing or is it still for long period of time. If it is growing them the doctor will have to find a treatment method for you in order to remove the freckle or to stop it from progressing any further.

All the best,
Nelie
