One morning a week ago I woke up and there was blood in my left eye. There wasn’t any pain or discomfort and it didn’t disturb my vision in any way. I waited for two days to pass and then I went to see ophthalmologist. He said that is nothing serious and that will pass by it self. He gave me no treatment. I don’t think that he took this very serious. I am worried because I never had eye hemorrhage. What I should I do about it? The time is passing, and my eye is still red.

I have had eye hemorrhage once or twice. The bleeding is a result of the break of small blood vessel in the white of the eye. I had these when I had severe cold and sneezing caused it. Don’t worry, it looks bad and may be frightening but is not dangerous and leaves no residual change in vision. I haven’t got treatment also and it passed after three weeks. He took you seriously I ma sure but he didn’t explain you that it is harmless.
