eye vessel burst and headache on same side

Question

I woke up the other day with a burst in my eye, accompanied with a headache on the same side of my head. Is therre reason for concern?

Hello there There is no need to panic because burst eye vessels are common condition which can be result of some normal bodily functions like intense sneezing. This condition is usually painless but sometimes situation is different. If you experience severe headache together with burst blood vessel it could point to some other disease or larger problem. The only way you can be sure that this is nothing more than burst eye vessel is to consult with your doctor in case that this headache doesn’t go away. And don’t be afraid of the way how this burst blood vessel looks like because although isn’t pleasant thing to see it is not something that needs doctor’s assistance in most of the cases. After 14 days you should be just fine.
