I know that there are dozens of posts about this, but my experience has been largely different. When I was still in Elementary and Middle School, my parents always made me eat vegetables and stuff with lots of fibers. I would have bowel movements really often. As I entered College, I started eating more junk food, stopped getting exercise (I had thought you only needed exercise if you were fat back then) , started sitting a lot more, and consumed soft drinks. I still eat vegetables every now and then though. I noticed that I started having less bowel movements.

After having a recent scare about a youtuber (TotalBiscuits) having colon cancer, I started researching as much as I could. I've read a lot of cases about it, but my experience is kind of different.

1. I hear about bright red, dark red, and faint pink blood appearing on the tissue after wiping, but every time I've seen blood on the tissue, it ranges from a few small faint red dots to slightly larger less faint red dots.

2. If I eat more vegetables, consume more water, and just eat healthy foods in general, my bowel movements increase. If I eat more foods high in fat and consume more soda, my bowel movements decrease.

3. I don't see blood after wiping every time I do have bowel movements, but I'm still worried.
