Here's my story. I had my first "fast problem" that I can remember when I was in 4th grade. Everything speeds up intensely: the voice in my head, my own movements, walking, noises like a fan or the washing machine. Everything just goes fast. I also get this weird feeling in my head that bothers me more than anything I can only describe it as a sponge full of paint. It's scary but I'm 20 years old now and it's happened my whole life so I'm used to it. I can't figure out what triggers it. It only happens like once a year like everyone else says. My heart doesn't beat fast and the only feeling of panic I get is that it can't be normal. I've never told anyone other than my mom about it and she thinks it's a panic attack but I know it's not because I've had panic attacks and it feels completely different. I think some day when I get situationed I will ask a doctor about it but I feel like it would be misunderstood for something else. I'm not to worried about it. Just wish I knew what it was from but looks like I'm not alone. - Leah 20 years old from Tennessee/Oklahoma/ Florida
My 8 yr old just told me he keeps having this feeling. He says everything feels like it goes fast. Has anyone had this checked out?
