I'm a little worried...
I'm 22 F and just started to take rollerblade class last month.
i fell down on hard (tiles) slope quite hard 3 weeks ago when i was rollerblading
after i fell down i can feel it is quite painful at my tailbone area, but no bruise at all

It has been 3 weeks, it is better than after i fell down, but i still got problem with bending down to get my stuffs on floor, and get up. I should slowly bend down because it is really discomfort...

Do i need to seek physician advice? or just let it heal by itself because i read that tailbone need a very long time to heal itself....

Please give me some reply

thank you :-D
I don't think that it would be a bad idea to see a physician just to make sure that whatever happened didn't have a long-term effect on your body. Especially based on the way the fall went, it might have done some damage. Check with your doctor and let me know how it comes out, okay?

Hi hon! First of all you are talking to the right person here!!! I fell and hit my Cocyx (tail bone) YEARS ago, what ended up happening is a fractured it! And that was really painful - I still have problems with it! There isn't much they can do about it unfortunately as it is connected to your spine! It is like a little tail (thus the term tail bone) and for them to remove it is tricky! So definitely ask for an XRAY just to make sure you don't have any bone splinters going on! Try and use hot and cold pacs on your bottom - to take away the swelling inside! Hopefully it is just a bruised tail bone! And this will go away! Also ask for a special bone ultrasound, they have a special ultrasound machine that can check your spine and bottom and see if there is any damage - I had one a couple of years ago and they found a bony growth on the spot where I fractured, so just to be safe OK? And please let us know how you make out! Good luck and health honey!

So I fell quite hard and hit around my gooch area, there's no bruising on the outside but it hurts when I sit down. Any way to lessen the pain and heal faster?
