Can anybody advise. I am 31 year old female with 20 mths year girl. Last July I found a lump on my right breast. Had a ultrasound and they told me if was Fibrocystic cyst. On the scan it was a round black circle. My right breast aches from time to time, with a stingy shooting pain and my right armpit feels like it's blocked up as I sweat loads recenty. Also I have PCOS and I still believe I have my cyst on my right ovary when I was diagonised when I was 25 years old. Is this caused by a milk duct blockage due to having a child??? I'm still feeling nervous as you hear the Big C mentioned alot. xx

PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Hello Nancy I have exact the same diagnose as you, only that I am 28 and no kids. The doctor said to me that this is quite common at the reproduction age, that we have to check it out from time to time and if something changes then go back for another medical appointment. Also I live in the netherlands and my doctor is dutch and here they have a different medicine 'philosophy'.
Iv just recently found a lump also, and am suffering from aching in my back and my breast im tired all the time and feel blaaahhhh , im yet to find out what it is im due to have my scan next month so ant advice would be great or any experiences similar to mine would be helpfull
I had a quickly-formed, painful lump and it turned out to be a cyst which the Dr. aspirated (drained) and the pain went away instantly. I have had these occur every few years & had them drained. In 2006 the fluid drained from another seemingly routine cyst appeared abnormal and turned out to be cancerous. I had chemo, surgery & radiation as a result. I was fortunate that nothing had spread to the lymph nodes ... so the lesson I take from this is not to ignore a cyst.
