I posted on this recently as I have had similar problems to all of you for three years now. I had a normal, pain free sex life, until one day it hurt, and hasn't stopped for three years. I was dismissed by doctors, and no one knew what was wrong. Finally, I found a doctor in Beverly Hills who specializes in vulvar pain. She diagnosed me w/ a syndrome called Vestibulitis, or Vestibuldynia. She said I have a lot of redness and pain in the lower areas of the vaginal vestibule. She said it's surprisingly common amongst women, yet they still don't know the cause of it. There is no cure, but there are several treatments which have high success rates. She has me on lidocaine (have to go to a special compound pharmacy for it though) and I have to basically numb the area every night for 6 weeks. She said that a high number of women who did this went on to have no future symptoms. The second solution, should that fail, is surgery. I am praying to God that the cream works, of course.
I highly recommend finding a GYN who specializes in vulvar pain. Regular GYNs don't always know about these things, as they aren't 100% textbook.
