I have a nail stuck in my throat it hurts I’m scared I tried to eat and drink nothing helps idk what to do I’m scared it’s uncomfortable
One morning I woke up and felt as if i was getting sick and my throat was scratchy, just on right side. Next day i realized it was a finger nail. I tried to get it out and i couldn't seems like it went further in. Its been about 5 days and my right side of my throat is swollen inside and out, at night i can hardly breath and at times it scares me. I've tried to swallow food without chewing and I've tried drinking stuff in big gulps. I dont necessary want to go to the Dr.. But like when's a good time to go because if its left up to me ill keep putting it off. Someone help me out thanks.

That's literally how my throat feels, as soon as I swallowed a fingernail it instantly started making me have shortness of breath and felt like it was like under my skin in my throat but I think it just scratched it, it's been 2 days now
