So recently I thought I had been getting a yeast infection (slight itching, minor burning sensation while peeing) but no painful intercourse, or abnormal discharge. I took 2 doses of Monistat and have been using the anti-itch cream to help. I am starting to get a little worried, because now on the upper part of both of my vaginal lips, there is a lot of flaky dry skin, that when I flake it off uncovers red, somewhat moist skin. I have also had some small red bumps (that caused no discomfort) that appeared on the lower portion of my vagina and a few on my inner thigh. I just attributed these bumps to razor burn/ ingrown hairs. Now I am starting to get a little concerned. I just broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years, and I am nervous I have contracted something from the only person I have hooked up with since then. Please help me! Does this sounds like a yeast infection rash/thrush?? or something more serious like herpes??
to be honest to me that sounds alot like herpees my sister went through the red bumps an extreme disscomfort as it spreaded an progressed because she didnt go to a dr till it got so bad that she was covered in red bumps an couldnt even walk frm the pain itching an burninf sesations wat ever u do please dont hesitate to go see a dr soon to be sure its nothing that serious i hate for any female to go thru the pain i watched my sister go through
