Hi. I am 17 years old(virgin) and have had fordyce spots for some time now though I only recently realized they had a name. I assumed that every man had them. Im getting self conscious about them. My penis and scrotum are absolutely covered with them though they are more noticeable towards the under base of my shaft. I heard that some acne medicines can help reduce them in size and was wondering if BENZACLIN could help as I already have some for my facial acne.

Also how do men here that have them deal with them? Have any women said something about them when they saw em? If they ask what they are what should I say because "fordyce" may kill the mood so I might say oil glands. How common are they? There is hair growing out of them though I heard they only appear where hair doesn't grow.

Any help/advice would be appreciated because I realize you must be getting tired of all these fordyce questions.
