Anyone try micro punch technique for lip fordyce spots?

Im a black woman in my mid thirties and i too suffer from fordyce spots on my upper lip, and yes 99.999 percent of everyone i come in contact with avoid me or stare or tease or make mean gestures because they assume i have an std. They think its herpes or warts. I wish i could go back to my normal lips. I am constantly searching the internet for a new miracle for these things but i doubt if it will happen. I hate going out in public, even to work but i have to because i have kids to make a living for. Im internally sad and hate my life because of these things. I think im a very attractive woman until you look at my top lip. I first noticed them around 18/19 but only i could see them then at 27ish they began to form small clusters, thats when i sought medical treatment and demanded i be tested for herpes and hpv. The doctors were puzzled but came bk with fordyce spots. Deep down idk what to beleive bc until i sought treatment i too thought someone had given me something but my test are negative. Dermatologist say stop wearing lipstick and chapstick but nothing on my lips is so ugly, truthfully to me its disgusting because i once had beautiful full pink blemish free lips. I just need to accept what i cant change but in todays society its easier said than done. I want to do a fb blog or something to show the world what i go thru on a daily basis. Daily living activities and people interaction causes anxiety, i try avoiding eye contact so i wont see others reactions, i try acting as if i dont hear rude remarks. My life is a living hell bc of lip fordyce spots. My question of mystery is : why is it not covering my bottom lip? I would lick an answer to that question that really makes sense. Research is needed to understand and accept that this may be abnormally normal. No fairs, nopools no public events, no public interaction. People are so rude and inconsiderate when interacting with ppl like me.its so depressing. I get ran off of job sites because i get harrassed so much its unbearable. These bumps are beneath my lip skin, they are yellowish-white, they wont burst, they are just there. Getting bigger over time but not rapid enough for me to say "hey it grew lastnight" if there is any doctor reading this who would be interested in researching this abnormal, hideous lolking condition, reach out to me. I would gladly be first in line. I cant see living into my 60's looking like this. No companion, bc half of them dont believe me or are willing to take a chance, and i dont blame them cause i would be thinking he was lying if he told me that "oh these bumps are fordyce spots, they are not contagious" no one believes that at all. I have an official letter about it and giving the diagnosis from my doctor but it does no good, regardless im still treated like im infectious and a nasty woman by 99.999 percent of peolle i interact with. I say f**k my life but im a mom and i have to put my pride aside and try to function productively, daily fory kids upbringing. I havent kissed a man or my kids in years. One woman at work said to me"""""ewwww, i hope you dont kiss your mom with those lips" i wanted to kill her for being so rude but living with this u tale the insults, then go home and cry it all out praying that eventually it gets better. De javu every day. I try dressing bummy so no guy would even want to come close to me. This condition has taken over my life and im not happy at all.........sad,embarrassed, and confused.

Wow, I really feel for you babe, but do you have them down below on your penis like me too? They can affect you even worse when they're down there.
FS are starting to grow on my lips to and I can see the cluster type ones covering my entire lip to which like you say will make like very hard for me-I'm 32 now!
There is a small and when I say very small community on the Fordyce spots forum (around 3-4 people) who are actively on there and looking for cures.

If you do go on there there is a recent post of a study in the lips section about a BCA (bicholoreacetic chemical acid peel) study which took place with a high end result of diminishing something like 80-90% of FS! If you are interested, which you could possibly get done.
I also found a study in the US they are doing which is trailing a new laser for people with unwanted skin conditions like FS who want to take part. I'm in the U.K. and they didn't reply to me. But they may reply to you if your interested in it. It's at the Scripps medical centre near San Francisco the links I posted are on the thread 1720nm a thread about a possible laser which may or may not work.

I too was thinking about starting a blog or google post or even starting a Facebook/Google groups support group but don't think enough people would join-I think you should go for it and write your blog id be very interested in reading it.

Anyone tried Smoothbeam laser for fordyce spots on lips ?? the CO2 laser doesn't go deeply enough but the smoothbeam seem to go deeper, maybe not deep enough but my dermatologist said that it might work and when i check on forum not much people have tried it, lots tried CO2 or micro punch, but no one tried the smoothbeam

Before to reply you i would like to ask people who got those f****r on lips, if we could all talk together and search what we have in common maybe we could found why we got them.

i saw in a forum a french guy (i'm french) tried this on his fordyce spots on lips, but he never came back to tell us if the result was good or not, to me when people just deseapear like that and don't come again it's because their problem is fixed, but i can't be sure... before doing the procedure he said his dermatologist is sure that it's gonna work. my dermatologist was ok to try it on my lips but just at the corner to see if it's working or not, i said no because i was scared but i think i'm gonna give a try soon, just at the corner of the lips so it can't be bad if it's not working... the CO2 laser burn the surface of the skin but the smoothbeam is deeper, not sure if it's deep enough but i'm pretty sure it's better than CO2 and does less scarring, i don't even know why people bother trying CO2.

but CO2 works for condition like papule perlee, those white dots that you can have around the head of your tralala, i did the procedure a year ago and my tralala is really smooth now, they didn't come back, but this DOESN'T work for fordyce spots and will never work.

Wow hun I feel for you deeply I feel the exact way except I don't have kids nor do I want to now... I know I'm not crazy, only people suffering from this know the everyday anxiety depression we have to go through and it's just not fair.

Smooth beam might work but how available is it around the world?
I would imagine only countries like America has this treatment she would involve a lot of travel.

to me it's available in lots of different countries, we have it in France and i'm sure it's available in America, England, Germany...

I'd have to do some searching around. The only place that I know treats FS is in lemington spa in England and I don't know what type of laser they use.

I've posted this before on here and wanted to ask again, do people have trouble getting on to the fordyce spots forum website..it works for me about once every month or so...usually I try to go to the site and the page never loads. Any suggestions? Thankyou

Well, it's a bit slow loading on my iPhone 5S and sometimes I have to reload the page if it's taking ages to load.
Maybe you could try using a different computer to see if it's a problem at your end. Try and use a smart phone/tablet or your PC etc or failing that use a friends or public one such as at a cyber cafè or library etc to check.

Are you using mobile data to open the page or Wi-Fi?
