Hi there! The residue you see under your foreskin is called Smegma.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smegma

To clean mine, I just slowly pinched and pulled it all off. After you think you've gotten all of it (and it ALL comes off, it just takes a bit of time) just rinse over it with some water in the shower, and you should be fine!

This also removes the bad smell that comes from the head of the penis!

Hope it works out.

Dodgeram:

Some males have more foreskin than others, but no one has too much foreskin. If the foreskin is longer than the penis, there is no place for it to go and it will not stay back. Mine is the same way. Only guys with short foreskins can keep it back.

The foreskin is an important part of your sexual equipment. That is where the nerves are. You need to involve your foreskin in your sexual activity.

Foreskins vary in length and coverage.

You are within the normal range on foreskin length and coverage.

The white and yellow stuff is smegma that has been accumulating there since you were born. It is dry and hard. I suggest that you put olive oil on it to soften it and then it should wash off. Try filling your foreskin with olive oil and let it stay there for a day and then retract your foreskin and wash the smegma away.

It is normal for the head to be quite sensitive to touch when the foreskin is retracted for the first time. You touched the sensitive head so you are feeling a bit of pain. Don't worry about it. It will go away.

Your skin should go back until the frenulum limits the rearward travel.

Long full-length foreskins will not auto-retract. Only inadequate short foreskins will auto-retract. For your skin to go back, the foreskin has to be wide enough to retract over the head.

If your foreskin is wide enough, it will retract if it is shorter than the erect penis. If it is longer, then it will never retract by itself but may be pushed back, however, it may not stay back. Some longer foreskins push forward again when you let go.

When a long foreskin is manually retracted, it gathers in folds at the base of the penis. The folds want to unfold and push the foreskin forward back to its normal position. A long foreskin is likely to slide/roll forward to recover and protect the glans penis when it is released. Some men simply cannot keep the foreskin retracted. This is not considered to be a problem.

The long foreskin provides superior protection to the head of the penis and keeps it soft, smooth, and sensitive. Moreover, the ancient Greeks considered a long, tapering foreskin to be a sign of male beauty. The long tip is called the akroposthion.

The long foreskin may improve the sexual experience because of its superior gliding action.

Its nothing to worry about, I used to be scared my foreskin would rip of the frenulum would snap during sex, but I have never had any problems or pain during sex. Im now 21 years old and have been having (fairly) regular sex since i was 16 so dont worry yourself.
