Hi, good people. My friend practices volleyball. He has been recently diagnosed with patellar tendintis. I would like to know what the frequency is within the people who practice each day. Can anyone tell me this? I would really appreciate all your replies considering this. Thanks in advance for answering to my post.
Hi, there. Patellar tendinitis is inflammation of tendon that connects patella with the shinbone. It is also known as jumper’s knee. I think that this says all. It is especially frequent with people who jump every day. This tendon is very important for leg extending. I think that it isn’t weird that your friend got this. I hope the treatment will help him. Good luck to him. Bye!

Hello. I have also heard about jumper’s knee. It is very frequent with people who use jump for their sport activity. Those are volleyball, basketball or soccer players. If one tries to increase physical activity, the pain usually increases as well. However, it can appear in people who are not “jumpers”. Patella disposition can also be a predisposition for this. Conservative treatment is firstly recommended. I hope this helps. Bye!
