Are you on birth control? It sounds to me like you may just have unregulated periods which is why you have such erratic ones. Is that the case?

Hi, Last year i noticed that i was bleeding after intercourse so got checked out by a doctor. She found that my cervix was inflamed and referred me to a specialist at the hospital. At the hospital we discussed the bleeding and which contraception i was using. I cant remember the name of what exactly was wrong but i needed my cervix freezing to rectify it. Since then i have had no problems with bleeding after intercourse (although i have been told it can reoccur after some time). I was also told certain types of the pill can cause the same and similar problems so id suggest making an appointment with your doctor to have an internal (not nice i know, but worth it if the problem can be resolved!)

Lately i haven't had my period for the last 4 months, and now for the past 3 day i get this like cramp spams, things, it like hurts a lot like a period cramp, but it lasts less than a minute. I am really weird with mine too. I'm 14 and started in July, and ever since then I have finished my period then a week after or 2 weeks after i start again. I usually have loads of blood, I'm on the largest most absorbent tampons like super plus plus whatever and pads I am that heavy. They usually last for 7-10 days as well it is rather strange! It's just ridiculous now. I never used to get cramp but now its excruciating, my appetite goes or I excessively eat and my mood swings are like bipolar. It gets me down a lot of the time.

Did anyone check your thyroid? An overreacting thyroid can cause more frequent periods and weight loss. So much weight loss that your eyes and cheek bones start to sink in. If that is the case with you, go to an endocrinologist.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is excellent for regulating periods. Find a good practioner. I highly, highly recommend this for you.

Im noticing one commonality. Almost everyone was at an age that typically has a hormone shift or they hhad some procedure or miscarriage that came beforehand. 12, 18. 25 and 30 are times for hormone shifts ... im 31 and i came here bc for the first time in my life my periods have been acting up. And after reading i see most of ushave the above causes... i had one that was late and then thenext two came early... if the next one isnot backto normal or if any other symptoms arise, i will beseeing a doctor. Thanks for sharing ladies.

Hi, look up 'natural progesterone cream' (organic if possible) you will find a lot of info about periods etc and no pills only a natural cream to rub on the skin with the natural hormone Progesterone. Good luck!

I wish I could help with a fix,but unfortunatly I have been having the same problems latly and all the doctors want to do is put me on BC pills...uhg! I am 41 years old and have had my tubes tied for 18 years, I should not have to take "the pill".

What I wanted to post about was a possible cure for the pain during the menstrual cycle, now bare in mind I am just a woman who is also looking for a cure, I am NOT a doctor. I was introduced to VITEX (agnus Castus) for the cramps of PMS, it is natural and you get it at a health food store. This has worked for me perfectly, now that is not to say it will work for every person but it is something that will not hurt you or your pocketbook to try out!

I also started taking EstroSense and this has helped get my hormones on the right track for regular periods. I hope this post helps some of you, I know how frustrating this can be since I work outside many hours a day! It is also a good idea to at least see a GYN just to rule out anything major!
