Every night at least one time my husband wakes up from gagging and feels like it goes away. Dr said its gerd or acid reflux. He gave him meds and nothing works. He has a new dr but can't get an appt til two weeks. Ent looked at says she can't see anything. Well does anyone heard of this and what it is

It sounds like your husband may have sleep apnea, which can cause certain 'gags', particularly if he snores. You should visit a different doctor, as most of the people in this forum wouldn't be able to help as much as an actual doctor.
