I was detected gallbladder polyps. I am afraid it is malignant. Is gallbladder polyp a risk factor for cancer?

Polyps larger than 1 centimeter are more likely to be malignant, so doctors recommend removal of the gallbladder inpatients with gallbladder polyps of that size or larger. But, it is not necessary malignant.
