im 14 girl and i sometimes pleasure myself. i have looked it up on the internet and im almost certain ive got yeast infection, white discharge, bit itchy.
my mum doesnt know i masturbate, so i want to know, are there any other ways of getting yeast infection, so i can talk to my mum about it, without it immediately pointing to masturbation? also might it just go away in its own?
but if i talk to my mum about it and it would definitely show that i masturbate, then are there other ways of getting rid of it? without needing the medication? i do have anti-fungal cream for ringworm (which i had recently). can i use that?
so my questions are:
will it go away in its own?
are there other causes of it other that masturbation?
can u get rid of it without medication?
can i use anti-fungal cream (for ringworm) on it?
its really annoying and messy, so really need to get rid of it!
please help, any advice appreciated!
thnx
Alex!
Hi Alex,
It does sound like you have a yeast infection. Masturbation will not cause them. They can happen at any time.
It may go away on its own but it can make you very uncomfortable too. You can get things like Vagisil or Monistat to help.
It's best if you see your doctor just to verify that that's what it actually is.
Don't use medication not specific to treating a yeast infection. Some things are not safe to put in your body.
Hope it helps.

Thank you so much!
thats put my mind at rest. ill try and pluck up the courage to tell my mum.
so, shall i just tell her,
"ive had some white sticky stuff recently in my pants. does that mean i have an infection?"
then she'll probably say yes and we'll go to the doctor.
Thank you soooo much!

You're welcome.
Yes, that's a good way to tell your mom.
You may not need to go to the doctor if your mom is positive about what it is. She can get over the counter medicines that will work too.

A yeast infection can be cause by bad eating habits but if you have a sensitive vagina Monistat will cause burns
