So yeah, months ago I was diagnosed with glaucoma. It took me a month before finally accepting it to be part of the rest of my life, how depressing. And then after two months of being diagnosed with glaucoma, I was given a test and it found out that I am suspect of macular degeneration, another leading cause of blindness in the world like glaucoma. Both don't have cure but can be controlled to prevent further damage. These two serious eye diseases are progressive. Both are common with old age especially macular degeneration. But of course anyone at any age can have glaucoma. So what now? Should I change my way of living? How to deal with those two leading cause of blindness that are age-related? I am a 16-year old girl with a lot of dreams in life.
