I really want to know what is the cause, it happens to me in any random moment, but sometimes it happens when I'm giving strong attention at something I'm doing, like solving an equation, cutting slices, or when I'm listening a song I enjoy. We need information about it

This is an awesome sensation. It happens to me when I'm having a deep conversation right off the bat with someone I just met or started to get to know. I've noticed that softly spoken voices is apart of it as well. Honestly I feel like this sensation happens to people that are really empathetic, sensitive and understand symbiotic relationships. Why the brain triggers these goosebumps? Im going to guess certain brain receptors that give off high levels of serotonin and dopamine while simulataneously sparking the sympathetic nervous system. The reflex of the sympathetic nervous system then makes tiny muscles at the base of each hair contract and pull the hair (of the scalp) erect.

It's called ASMR, there are tons of ASMR videos on YouTube designed to trigger this feeling.

I get them a lot in my scalp and specially my ears when I see something gross, the other day a I saw a woman with her face kinda deformed and she had her eyes on her cheeks, I don't wanna sound mean but really, I was really gross, horrible, now everytime I remember that moment I get weird goosebumps in my head and ears, I don't wanna sound mean but it was super gross

It seems I am the only one who is associating the goose bumps on my head with a negative feeling. It happened to me today while I was attending a seminar and I feared that I would collapse. For the last one week I have been having very less sleep and too much strain. I am on anti- depressant, on a mild dose though. I wonder if that goose bump in my head on the left side has any connection with nervous system and lack of sleep.

I have this feeling down the right side of my scalp. It’s tingly and feels the same as goosebumps. Not unpleasant at all but I worry whether it’s a neurological disorder pending

That's me too. I get it at different moments, but especially when someone is cleaning the home around me. I become immobilised, I love the sensation so much, I don't want it to stop.
