Hi,

Well I have a weird discharge. Its a very light green color sometimes. No burning when I pee but it itches sometimes but its happen before I became sexually active. 99% sure I dont have an STD but Im just curious if some has something similar to this.

Please help !!

Thanks
Hi Don't,

See your doctor.  Green and itchy indicate an infection.

Green can indicate an STD, but it may not be since you've had this before you became sexually active.  Trichomoniasis is one STD that can produce a green discharge.

An exam is required.

Good luck.

Well It only happened maybe a week ago ?

I was thinking that since I got a little bit sick that could be the reason?

But since its been 5 months from the last time with that person, Could the symptoms just show up now if it was trichomoniasis ?

It can take a month or longer for symptoms to show if it is trichomoniasis. This is just a possibility, not definitive.

You do need to see your doctor. As I said before green and itchy indicate an infection.

Green vaginal discharge usually indicates a bacterial infection. This doesn't have to be an STD although it often is. If you haven't been sexually active at all, or you have had symptoms since before you were sexually active, a bacterial infection can come from using dirty hands to insert a tampon, etc, etc.

Itchy discharge usually points to a fungal infection.

Whatever the cause of your green discharge is, I'd advise you to take it seriously and see a doctor. Untreated infections increase the risk of all kinds of pelvic complications, so you will want to get seen to as soon as you can.
