I too have had the same thing for years. lmk what you find out. i got a doctors appointment this week to see what it really is... i just need to know what this thing is and put it to rest. bad or good news i'm going in. please let me know what you've found out. thanks, J. ps. Same as mine, 2 separate dr's said it was a lipoma and is common. My friend has same thing but his is a little larger.
Did you end up finding out what it's was? I am kind of I'n the same situation now, i am booked I'n for a X-ray i am so parranod and scared.
hi guys same thing here... very long hard mass going across abdo... does 'surface' up when i lay down... and usually easily palpable. waiting on ct scan sometime soon. anyone have any resolution or closure to the issue? wishing u all well.. i am also scared about this, and have a family to care for... i hope it is an ez fix..

I developed a hard lump in the upper abdomen about an inch above the belly burton right hand side three months after my laproscopy(sp) operation. I have taken a scan twice and both results do not reveal anything connected to the organs. Done blood test for liver function which is fine. I am in no pain except find it uncomfortable to lie on my stomach and occasionally get some needle like pain in the area. If anyone has gone through an operation to remove the lump please share your experience because my next step is to get it further investigated.
I have a long lump in my lower right abdomen that appears when I lay down, I have regular bowel movements. The doctors act like I'm making it up, I have experienced severe unexplained pain in the past in this area, then I found lump. Please tell me the results of ur investigations
When I sneeze I get a hard ball in my stomach and sometimes it feel like a fetus in moving around. Does any one have that problem? HELP????

I think that the best possible solution to these symptoms is to see a doctor, because not everyone has the same diagnose even though the symptoms may be similar, and this site could be very misleading, if not, frightening. Someone could tell you that you have cancer, or something serious, and really, it could be nothing serious. Best to go see a physician to ease your mind. Certfied MD's are not on this site, so I really don't feel like asking anything. Sorry.

About 13 years ago I noticed an egg sized lump in between my belly button and upper right rib cage I have had 2 ultrasounds and a CT scan which all came back normal. The lump has gotten very large it starts at my belly button and goes underneath my right rib cage I have discomfort when I eat and a dull ache in my back where my rib cage ends. I can feel the lump constantly and move it between my fingers. Even my Dr. can feel the lump but the test keep coming back normal. Im wondering if it could be my transverse colon? I was told that ultra sounds do not look at bowels so could this be why the ultrasounds come back normal?
Hey,I notice my lump on the right abdomen 2yrs ago..Did U/S and CT...only to find out I have mild hydronephrosis...but nothin in regards of the lump..which is still present..I plan on gettin another ultrasound done soon..
Middle of my abdomen between my belly button and chest slightly to my left had side i've got a tiny non painful hard lump. its about 1 cm. doesnt move. any ideas??
I have the same thing and have been worried I have a one foot gall blatter removal scar and its right above it. I ll see my dr to double check but I'll sleep better tonight
