i have a boil no puss came out...i took antibiotics...but now there is this harded lump under my skin...will it gradually go away ? or must i be operated to take it out?

Chances are that it will go away. There is a slight chance that it might leave some scar tissue behind but that won't be very noticeable if it does occur.
If it doesn't start to get smaller, go see a dermatologist.
