Hi guys. So, I have this issue with hidradenitis suppurativa for a while now. It stagnates, it is not worse or even better, but I can't say that it doesn't bother me. It does. I didn't use any medications so far, just some antibiotic creams. I was talking to my good friend and she told me that a good friend of hers had this problem and she had to change a diet program. It seems that it helped her. Well, I am not sure how so I need to ask you - has a change of diet helped your hidradenitis suppurativa? Anyone with this type of experience?

Sure it can. It will help you in your health issues generally, not just treating your problems with hidradenitis suppurativa. Here are a couple of tips that you can do in order to treat it. For example, you should eliminate processed foods and try to eat mainly organic meats, produce, and other foods. Also, you should eat more fruits and vegetables daily, green juices also should be a part of your daily menu. Caffeine, wheat, flour, and gluten should be limited. Eliminate sugars. Those are a couple of tips that you should use and I am sure that soon you will see some progress. Good luck!

Sure, I agree that certain lifestyle changes affect the body's ability to function properly and it can help you in the Hidradenitis Suppurativa treatment, but you should not believe that those are the only things that you can choose. You have to do so many other things, and if you combine it with medications, that will be amazing. So, yes, diet program can help you, but there are so many other lifestyle changes that you should follow. For example, eliminate alcohol, don't smoke. Sleep enough exercises on the weekly basis - not every day, but their times per week will be just fine. And of course, don't expect to get some magic wand - it takes time for this to goes away.

I also want to know that? Because my friend is trying to find a proper diet program and someone told him that Paleo is a good option. Is it? I know a couple of those rules when you need to eliminate a dairy product, eating less sugar, etc. I also do believe that changing a diet program can help a lot, but I also do believe that you need to have a specific diet for a specific problem. That is at least my opinion. That is why I have told my friend to wait until he sees is this diet program right for him.
