I have problems with ovaries carcinoma. My doctor recommended me an operation, removal of the left ovarium. As I understood him, since I vomit easily, it is possible that I might do exactly the same thing after the surgery, or even during it. So I think about taking droperidol. My other problems are my arrhythmias and I also take some meds for that. Has droperidol potential for causing serious arrhythmias?
Droiperidol is an anti emetic which means that it prevents both nausea and vomiting after the surgery while under radiotherapy. It is very efficient in it s functioning and can interact with anti arrhythmic and decrease their efficacy. So, there is some possibility if negative interaction, I guess you will be told the same thing by your doctor.
