ok so over the weekend when my and my boyfriend were having sex somehow he got a cut in his foreskin and it was pouring out blood. it took a whole day for all of his blood to leave my vagina. would his blood being inside of me hurt me in any way or cause any issues?

The blood increases the risk of infection. Your vagina will clean itself out though.

It would be both.
For him, any break in the skin is a path that bacteria can get in.
For you, your vagina is a "mucous membrane." Again, it is very easy for bacteria to get in there and since the tissue is moist and warm, it's a good place for bacteria to grow.
Remember, there would have to be some infection present for you to get one though.
