I'm a 53 year old female, and I get real hot in the haed and face area, my hair is falling out. The only time I don't sweat is if i'm sitting still. If I take a shower and don't get sat down immediately, I get real hot and my head and face sweats profusely. I get dizzy and feel faint. My doctor just writes it off to be my hormones. was on Premarin maxium dose, and that didn't help. I took them for about 7 years, and it didn't help with the hot flashes either. I know when i'm having a "HOT FLASH", and these are not hot flashes. I really suffer badly in the summer time, or anytime it gets above 65. I am very embarrassed about this, I carry a towel with me at all times. I wear a bandana to try and catch the sweat if i'm going out. It can be 20 degrees outside, and i wil sweat, just my head and face. It doesn't effect any other part of my body. My sugar is pretty much under control. I do weigh 220 lbs. But my sisters are much bigger than I, and they have gone tru menopause, and they have never had any of these problems. My Mother had this sweating problem and it stayed with her for about 5-8 years. PLEASE SOME ONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO? GOING CRAZY, DON'T THINK I CAN MAKE MORE. I DON'T ENJOY LIFE ANY MORE, I CAN'T GO OUT AND DO THINGS
