Hey, i had a similar problem, what you have to do is stop masturbating for roughly a week, and if you have the urge, then try to do it slowly, if this tip doesnt work, you should probably see a doctor. Hope this helps

I'm 28 and this has only just started happening to me. They are, by far, the most painful headaches/migraines I've ever had and I used to suffer from chronic miagraines when I was about 14. Horrible, horrible experience and I hope it goes away soon.
i was having these headaches while working out or when i came. my head would hurt and start to throb as my blood starting beating rapidly. i looked it up and its actually referred to as sex headaches. theres a nerve called the Vagus nerve (sp?) that pumps blood from the hear to the head. i laid off everything for 2 weeks and it went away

I have a theory. This happens to me sometimes, mostly it happens if I already have a slight headache, then masturbate, then the headache gets extremely intense... much much worse... for a short period of time (several minutes) during and especially after. I believe (my best guess) this is caused by lack of blood flow to the brain. For example, when you are hung over head and neck muscles become swollen and restrict blood flow to the brain, causing a headache. When masturbating (for men) the penis fills with a large amount of blood (the erection) and then during the orgasm the heart pumps very intensely (presumably) pumping blood to your sexual organs while they are "doing their thing". All of this is taking blood supply away from the brain, which could cause (or exacerbate) a headache. This would also explain why the effect is only temporary, and fades away after you finish. One final thought is that I happen to have a very large penis. The penis can vary in size a lot from person to person and a very large one must take a lot more blood to get erect than a very small one, maybe even 3 or 4 times the amount of blood... So, I wonder if those who experience these headaches often have large penises? Who knows.

For me, I believe it is tension. If I get a headache while masturbating it's usually when I use a lube of some kind. The first time it happened was in the shower. I was using shampoo as a lube. Half way through the session my head started to ache, but I was too far into it to want to stop. I paid for it with a headache that lasted for at least an hour or more. I seem to get headaches if I am in a sitting or standing position and using lube. If I do it dry or am laying down using lube I don't get the head ache... We are all made differently so what causes a headache for me may not cause one for someone else, and what I do to keep the headaches from happening to me may not work for another person.

Since none of you will ever know this isn't to embarrassing but for awhile I was home alot and would jack off every few hours or so then I started getting the terrible headaches everyone is talking about (stabbing pain at the back of my head) and I was starting to get a little worried if its something serious or if u get lucky I will have to back out so I'm going to stop for a while and see what happens thanks for the help
