Hey. Im 15 and I recently got the big shock of 'believing' that my foreskin is supposed to run all the way back past my head. THIS IS WRONG

LOADS of people have this problem, and it can be easily solved. My mind is at rest finally and I am writing these tips/advice I have picked up so other people can feel the same way I do (It was really eating away at me in school because I thought I was some kind of freak, and everyone around me was able to do it)

It is very much possible that alot of boys that go to your school (Or your friends) have exactly the same problem! Now I shall start -

If you have a tight foreskin and you are more comfortable when it comes to talk about your penis then by all means go to see a professional about it. They can provide you with creams etc that will easily loosen up your foreskin and allow you to be much more capable.

Phismosis

Many health sites and FAQs I have come across are extremely misleading when it comes to conditions such as phismosis. I have a tight foreskin and I found alot of these first, my heart sank when I read that an operation was needed to solve the problem as the FAQs/sites had only talked about phismosis, and not informed readers of anything that could be confused with it.

On one of the sites it said that less than 1% of boys over the age of 7 have phismosis. This means that there is a very low probability that you have the condition. Dont let your hopes drop! There are other options.

Tight foreskin

Many people suffer from a tight foreskin, where stays around the very head of the penis and causes an uncomfortable feeling if pulled back. Do not believe you have something extreme like Phismosis until you have done some in-depth searching and gathering all info you can on it. (Like when I found my first testicular lump at about 14, I paniced because I thought every lump down there was cancerous, but after some searching I was able to tell it was just a pocket of fluid/loose skin, because there were no actual hard lumps underneith)

Self foreskin stretching

Ok....To the point....

Dont be put off by the uncomfortable feeling, no pain no gain!

First off, use a lubricant that is comfortable for your penis (Dont put anything you have never tried onto your actual head because of reading this, you may cause problems)

I use saliva during masturbation, as it is relatively safe and perfectly natural (Oils and other products can cause nasty rashes if you arent careful)

Easy enough, put some lubricant on the head of your penis and move it up and down quickly to spread it about. Now slowly start pulling your foreskin back, try to get into a position that is comfortable and do it at any speed you want. This will feel very uncomfortable at first, but dont worry....The sensation (It feels a bit like pain, but its hard to tell) is just because the head of your penis hasnt been exposed yet so it is sensetive to the air/other particles (Especially if there is a draft!)

Dont do it fast as said before, do it at your own pace. I tried this a few times a day over 2-3 days and now my foreskin can almost reach the edge of the head. With the lubricant, your foreskin can slide back without alot of friction, making you more comfortable.

Bring the foreskin as far back as possible, until you cannot go any further without real pain. Hold it there for 30 seconds and release. Do this a few times a day and it will REALLY help loosen up your foreskin.

Smegma also accumulates under the foreskin if it isnt washed properly. Most people with tight foreskins will have it so dont worry. Keep doing this and you should be able to wash under there properly which will get rid of any cheesy smells and make blowjobs much more pleasurable for your partner/gf

Hypersensitivity

As said before, your head will be extremely sensitive to the air so it will be uncomfortable. The more you expose it, the faster your body will learn that it is not a threat to your health thus stop it being so uncomfortable.

This may take a while to achieve but from what I have heard, sex/masturbation feels much better when you can slide the foreskin all the way back past the head and it doesnt hurt at all.

I hope this has helped you, ask me anything and ill do my best to answer it.

ps. STAY STRONG, THE CHANCES OF YOU HAVING ANY SORT OF PENIS RELATED CONDITION ARE VERY LOW SO DONT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. ALOT OF THE PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED WITHOUT CIRCUMCISION OR USUALLY WITHOUT EVEN NEEDING TO SEE A DOCTOR/GP.

The little piece of skin is caled the frenulum. It is supposed to be there. No, you don't have to see a doctor.

If your foreskin gets stuck behind the head you have a condition called "paraphimosis". You can read about it online.

If you get it again. squeeze the head of your foreskin very hard. that will drive the blood out of the head and make it smaller. Then you can pull your foreskin forward.

It is supposed to be there, it's job is to no let the foreskin go all the way down so it stops it. It's all natural.

That little bit of skin is the frenulum. It normal and supposed to be there.
If it is too short, you can stretch it or it can be surgically lengthened or cut.

You are correct about the misinformation on the Internet about the foreskin.

It is especially bad in America, because almost everyone was circumcised at birth for several generations, which caused knowledge about the foreskin to be lost.

Now that about 1/2 of young boys have foreskins, we are having to relearn the information that had been lost.

You are doing a great job.  I appreciate what you are doing.
