I just had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago and I am gaining weight! I still feel very bloated and my clothes arent fitting. I continue to gain weight and I dont know what to do. And to top it all off, I have no energy! I am in desperate need of help. What foods should I be eating to help me lose weight and which foods should I stay away from? Are there any suppliments out there that I can take to help? Someone please help me!!!

You are still under a doctor's care.
Return to the doctor and describe your symptoms.
He needs to know how you are reacting.

Hi, I wish I could explain it also, I had mine out last July and have slowly gained weight and don't know whats wrong. I have tried digestive enzymes as I was told that we are no longer able to break down fat, our body just wants to store it, so I hope someone has the answer, sorry I'm no help but am in the same boat as you are.

Well believe it or not, and I hardly believe it myself, but the surgeon that did the operation said they are not involved in that part it would be the gastro doctor, I called them and they sent me a low fat diet...didn't need that as I eat a lowfat diet...If I knew this would have happened I would have kept my gallbladder, but thanks for the suggestion.
