Hi guys, I just got my wisdom teeth out this past Wednesday, February 8th, 2017, and I started experiencing this bad taste about 2 days ago. I went back to the dentist who performed the surgery and she looked at everything and said there was no infection and everything looked great as far as the healing process. So it is normal for people to experience the bad taste! I rinse my sockets after every time I eat, as well as brush my teeth every time if I'm able. It helps keep the bad taste away for the most part. So just make sure you're rinsing and brushing your teeth a bit more often than usual and you guys should be fine!! Hope this helps ♡

Hi! I had my four wisdoms removed on Friday and since my tongue hasn't felt normal. It feels puffy & rough with yellow spots on the side plus a metallic taste :(. Extraction sites are still sore but no extreme pain. I haven't been taking any antibiotics but it sounds like thrush? Any ideas on this?

Try T.C.P mouth wash swill all around that socket, sack this £20.00 for even more pain than i had any way, i'm off back to see the Dentist no doubt another course of Antibiotics will be needed. Surely there's got to be a sterile clotting agent of some description for B.B.V's

That happened to me when I had all four wisdom teeth taken out. I didn't go to the dentist when the discharge started, but I rinsed with salt water at least 4 times a day and drank lots of water to get rid of the taste.

I had that happen to me when I had my upper wisdom teeth pulled... dentist literally ripped both corners of my mouth open... hurt like hell.... and the healing time was awful, it would rip back open if I had to yawn or even take a bite of good.... I think it's because you get so dry holding your mouth open and then the irritation of the gloves.....
Never want that pain again, so now every time I go to the dentist I put blistex on my lips and corners of my mouth for days prior and before I sit in that chair, and if I feel it drying out I make them stop so I can put more on the corners... it works!

Just got mine taken out wk ago, Ask your Dr. for antibiotic and the syringe and follow the dentist instructions. you can fill up with warm salt water or antibiotic rinse and it will go away and for the swelling just keep an eye on it and don't stress you just need to give it time to heal...Hope this helps

theres no way you could like what they're talking about. no way in hell. some of it must be normal, but it also needs to be flushed and cleaned. for the abnormal stink, from saliva, mucous, food deposits, form little whitish yellow mushy stones. crush them, its like a stink bug, you thought you could smell it before, then it about kills you. they can build up in your tonsils too, called tonsil stones, its horribly disgusting
