I am about to have a moh’s surgery performed on my neck. I can’t say I am not scared but I am somehow more interested in the size of the scar as I work with public. Is there anybody who could tell me more about scarring after moh’s surgery? Thank you

Every surgery leaves a scar, so does this one. But, I heard that scars from this surgery usually mature after several months and become cosmetically acceptable. They can be pink and bumpy for about three to nine months. But if they don’t mature, those scars can be dealt with cosmetically. These correction-surgeries are performed only after 12 months following the moh’s surgery.
