Guest from 10.12.07, I am just now seeing your email. I am appalled by your words. Did you actually read my entire story? You mentioned that I had poor knowledge of my condition. I lived with the pineal cyst for years, suffered migraines, and seizures, so obviously I have an accurate knowledge of my own condition. I had written my story for everyone on this page to try to help and reach out to those that were suffering from pineal cysts as well. I wrote the story not even a month after my own brain surgery. You don't need to try to educate me by copying meanings of this condition from the internet. I've read everything you've posted online over and over again. For the record, yes it WAS a cystic tumor. Those are the words from Dr. Shahenian, the doctor who removed it from my head. It was originally just called a cyst, after my doctor removed it from my head and examined it, he said it was a cystic tumor. I hope you can spread love on here rather than negativity....
PS - For anyone else on this page who may be suffering with a pineal cyst & would like to communicate, please let me know. I'll give you my facebook page or email....

Hello, my 24 yr old son has a pineal cyst/tumor his is 1 cm. He suffers daily from extreme headaches, problems sleeping, Nausia, has had blackout in summer (Not sure if related) vomiting on few occasions. Neck pain (but he does have a fused neck) He is depressed. We live in Canada and are hitting brick walls with the Doctors. He also suffers from jaw pain, earaches. We recently came back from Toronto to see Neurosurgen and again were told prob not the cyst but wants another MRI done. This Doctor didn't even look in his ear. So we took him to ER few nights ago and eardrum is severly red and swollen. also has severe sinuisitis at the moment. So he really isn't feeling well. He has also seen floaters and is very light sensitive. any info you could give would be appreciated. Laverne
I have most of thos symptoms (14mm x 14mm x 10 mm). Has he tried taking Siberian Ginseng? Alleviates my condition ...
Take take.

iam 21 years old and i was diagnosed with pineal cyst in the core of my brain, my neruologist suggested not to remove them because they can leave on there own. and it is possible for them to come back. Iam on topamax and relpax those two rx drugs are the best for migrane headaches i suggest you talk to your doctor about them. I have been on them for 8yrs now. and i no longer get a migrane everyday.
Do your headaches worsen with an orgasm? Mine do severely ... Doctors look at me weirdly when I say this but I think it definitely has to do with the pineal cyst. Thanks.
2years of diagnosing, monitoring, calling it non-specific migraines etc and I have to say "yes" to does it worsen with an orgasm. My syptoms are seasonal, mainly from August - March or thereabouts and in testing all sorts of things I'm glad to finally see other folks posting their symptoms, diagnoses and results (even ones that sound funny like this!).
please message me with information on your surgeon and where he is located. my daughter was just diagnosed and she is 29 yrs old.she is having severe headaches and vision problems. I feel i need to talk to someone who has been through this.
